Meet Daniella Mohazab, AMFT

With a multiple degrees from USC and a Masters in Counseling from Pepperdine University, Daniella specializes in helping clients navigate big life challenges. Her experience to date has included supporting people with cancer and their families. In that work, Daniella found that her clients were mostly talking about relationships, goals, dreams, grief, and everything in between. Daniella also has additional training in sex therapy and enjoys supporting everyone, but especially queer BIPOC clients, through issues related to intimacy. Daniella takes a direct, narrative approach to her work to make sure every client feels supported and understood.

Daniella is excited to help you work toward greater emotional balance and well-being, no matter where you are in your journey.

  • I believe that healing occurs within healthy relationships, and that starts in the therapy room. I bring my authentic self into every session so that you can bring your authentic self into the world.

I am a narrative therapist and believe in meeting you where you are on any given day. I believe in empowering you to explore and rewrite your story at your own pace. It’s important to me that we focus on the goals that matter most to you.

I’m passionate about therapy’s potential for profound, long-lasting healing. I take a holistic approach to your wellness. You are more than your symptoms and hardships. Integrating your experiences and feeling stronger is possible.

  • I earned a Masters degree from Pepperdine University in Counseling with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy. For my practicum, I worked with cancer patients and their loved ones. I found that the work there was about everything under the sun; cancer has a way of bringing to the surface many things that we’re otherwise able to keep buried. It was fulfilling work that held personal meaning for me, having lost my mother to cancer.

As a pre-licensed therapist, my work is clinically supervised by Laurel Roberts-Meese, LMFT. That means she and I regularly talk about the people I am working with and share ideas about the best way to help you achieve your goals. Think of it as getting two therapists instead of one!
